BirthTeam.net was created as a directory to guide parents in finding a team (Steward) that shares the same decision-making of their birth preference.
Mission
BirthTeam is a network of caregivers that may provide the service(s) you are seeking with a little less searching on the World Wide Web. When we were expecting our first child, we had a plan of having a natural birth with little to no interventions. Although the internet was wide as far as searching I had a hard time trying to find a midwife and care team outside of my primary care provider and OB/GYN. I was desperate and wanted someone, a group, or a network of people to point me in the right direction for what I wanted in my natural birth plan. Fast forward to five months pregnant we found a midwife team that shared our same views and ushered us to meet our beautiful baby girl at 42 weeks and three days.
